I've been practicing yoga for over 25 years and have been teaching for 8 years. Yoga has been a passion of mine for most of my life, and my goal is that my students feel as passionate about yoga as I do.
My classes incorporate the physical Asana tailored to the capability of the student whilst allowing mind, body integration. The premise of my teaching is for my students to adapt their yoga practice to what they intuitively desire.
Not Trendy. Not Fast. Just Yoga.
This is not modern fitness yoga or a trend — this is traditional yoga, rooted in ancient wisdom. This is not fast-paced, trendy yoga or a fitness class in disguise.
This is traditional yoga, grounded in breath (pranayama), posture (asana), energy (chakras), and awareness.
We use mudras, breath, movement and stillness to help you reconnect with yourself.
Yoga isn’t something we can fully grasp without practicing. Yoga is not about performance or appearance. It’s about presence and practice. It’s not fitness or a quick fix for discomfort. It’s a slow, intentional journey of self-inquiry and integration. Let go of preconceptions shaped by what you've seen. The real depth of yoga is only found in experience.
Ashtanga classes incoporate a variety of Asana within a set routine. Through time the sequence is memorised, and it allows the practitioner to shift their focus to incorporating additional connection to the 8 limbs of Yoga.
Yin Yoga is an intense practice that forces the practitioner to focus on the 8 limbs of Yoga. The classes challenge the body as the Asanas are held for longer periods, allowing the practitioner to deepen the pose and connect to deeper tendons and ligaments. There is a large focus on the breath and this is a slower paced class.
Hatha Yoga classes focus on breathing techniques and a moderate approach to postures. These classes include traditional Yoga poses and are focused on tuning in fully to the breath integrating into the pose.
Viniyoga classes are focused on function over form within Vinyasa Krama, placed in a specific way. This class incorporates the synchronised movement of yoga Asanas. This is a flowing class focusing on movement with the breath, comprising both dynamic and static movement.
